Businesses Get Social Media Savvy

J.C. Martin was among the business owners hoping to learn more about using social media at a workshop run by Adria Pearl-Belport at the Weston Library on Wednesday. But he admitted he might be a bit behind the times.

"Social media is snowballing and becoming more and more important for my business and other businesses," said Martin, who owns a photography and graphic design company. And although he has a personal Facebook page, Martin does not check it regularly nor does he use it much to promote his business.
